How to Cook Falafel Mix
Cook your falafel balls right at your home with our homemade raw falafel mix! Savour the same health goodness and flavour without ever leaving your kitchen.
So what's exactly is our mix made of? It's chickpeas, herbs and spices, and more herbs, and a lot more. Don't worry! It's plant-based.
Down below is how you should cook them to reach maximum deliciousness.
Step 1: Scoop 1 1/2 tablespoons of your 500g mixture and form it into a ball. Make sure to press it real good, so the mixture is perfectly compressed. This measurement makes about 15 to 20 balls.
Step 2: Chill them in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Step 3: Prepare your pot and heat the canola oil. We need it HOT so we can achieve the crispiness! If you don't want to use oil, you can bake it instead. For the best falafel, frying is the answer
Step 4: Cook them until they are nice and golden brown.
Step 5: The time has come! Now eat 'em while they're hot!
Falafel balls are best paired with sauces. Try dipping it with tahini or amba sauce for that P-O-P of flavor! Not a fan of sauces? You can also match them with pita bread or salad, or just munch them on their own.
Cook them again when you crave because our mix can be stored up to 3 weeks when frozen and 4 days when refrigerated. Just don't forget to seal it tightly!
